The event Friday at Norin takes place every Friday from June 5 to July 25, presenting a series of interactive kayaking tours that combine cultural heritage and natural features of the Neretva Valley.
The program begins with a gathering in front of the Archaeological Museum Narona, followed by a guided tour of the museum exhibition, providing insight into the ancient site of Narona. The program continues at the Ilić Ethno House, where participants are introduced to the ethnographic collection and traditional way of life of the area.
The kayaking segment starts at the Narona kayaking starting point, including an introductory briefing and route presentation by a licensed guide. The tour takes place along the calm and historically significant Norin River, characterized by the absence of rapids and waterfalls, passing through the natural landscape of the Neretva Valley.
A scheduled break includes a picnic in a riverside green area, with refreshments, seasonal fruit, and water provided. After the break, the kayaking tour continues to its final point.
All necessary equipment is included, and the activities are conducted under professional supervision. The event integrates cultural, educational, and recreational elements with the aim of presenting the Neretva Valley and its heritage.
