Okusi Pelješac is a gastronomic event dedicated to traditional dishes, wines and authentic products from the Pelješac Peninsula. During the summer months, the programme takes place every Thursday evening along the waterfront in Trpanj and in the villages of Gornja Vrućica and Duba Pelješka, bringing together local producers, winemakers and visitors eager to discover the flavours of this renowned wine-growing region.
The event offers visitors the opportunity to experience the richness of Pelješac gastronomy and local traditions. Alongside the sounds of Dalmatian music and the scent of the sea, local producers present a wide range of products, including Pelješac wines, olive oil, liqueurs, salt products, souvenirs and unique designer items created by local artisans.
Fresh fish and seafood dishes prepared according to traditional recipes are an essential part of the experience, accompanied by a selection of premium wines presented by Pelješac winemakers. Through these flavours, visitors can discover the culinary diversity of the peninsula, shaped by centuries of fishing and winemaking traditions.
A distinctive segment of the programme is the hunter’s feast in the village of Gornja Vrućica, a rural settlement located just a few kilometres from Trpanj, known for its long hunting tradition. Here visitors can taste game specialities prepared according to local recipes, offering a different gastronomic experience from the typical seafood dishes of the Dalmatian coast.
Okusi Pelješac is a celebration of local flavours, traditions and products, offering visitors an authentic insight into the gastronomy and lifestyle of the Pelješac Peninsula.
