Luški Trail Đir is a series of traditional trail running events held on Korčula Island as part of the Vela Luka Outdoors – Adventure Tourism Days. This series celebrates the seasons and encourages sport, recreation and outdoor enjoyment in Vela Luka and its surroundings.
The season starts with Mrkla Strka, a night trail run held on 22 March, welcoming the arrival of spring with a unique night-time running experience. This popular night trail course leads participants along scenic coastal paths under the stars.
Next in the series is Luška Strka – Pozdrav ljetu (Salute to Summer), taking place on the third weekend in September. This trail event offers runners a diverse course through olive groves, vineyards and local trails, and often includes mountain bike options and children’s runs.
The season closes with the Zimska Strka, a winter trail run held between Christmas and Epiphany, inviting runners to embrace the season with a scenic course that winds through olive groves and winter landscapes.
Luški Trail Đir brings together runners of all ages and abilities, promotes an active lifestyle and offers a unique way to explore the natural beauty of Korčula through running, community and outdoor adventure.
