Good Food Festival 2024 – A Unique Gastronomic Adventure!
This autumn in Dubrovnik brings a true gastronomic celebration – the Good Food Festival returns for its eleventh edition, from October 7 to 20, 2024, with a program that will delight all food lovers and connoisseurs! Get ready for two weeks of exquisite flavors, creative workshops, dinners with renowned chefs, live music, and a series of unique experiences in the most beautiful locations in and around Dubrovnik.
What can you expect?
Dinner with Hrvoje Zirojević
The festival’s star event is an exclusive dinner with renowned chef Hrvoje Zirojević, taking place on October 12 at Restaurant Dubrovnik. This top chef will prepare specially curated delicacies, accompanied by live music performed by Zrinka Marinović. A perfect evening for those who want to enjoy gourmet food and a fantastic atmosphere!
Wild Feast on Lopud
If you love adventure and nature, don’t miss the Wild Feast with Dino Galvagno on the beautiful island of Lopud on October 11, at Konoba Mandrač. Enjoy the authentic flavors of nature, while Katija Živković and Jadranka Ničetić lead a food foraging workshop. In addition, the musical backdrop provided by Pero Škobelj will make the experience even more magical.
Istrian Delicacies in Dubrovnik
Fans of Istrian cuisine won’t want to miss a special dinner at Hotel Kazbek on October 10, where chef Floriana Ružić from San Rocco Heritage Hotel and Gourmet Restaurant will prepare the best Istrian specialties. Lokrum Island – Wine Tasting and Picnic
Wine and nature lovers will be thrilled by the wine-tasting event on Lokrum Island on October 13, where you’ll walk through the olive grove while tasting natural wines. A picnic with stunning views of Lokrum’s nature will complete this unforgettable day.
FOODravanje – Street Food Festival at Lazareti
From October 10 to 13, Lazareti will turn into a place where you can enjoy the best street food delicacies accompanied by concerts from popular performers. Expect performances by Opća opasnost, Atomsko sklonište, Crvena jabuka, and the Dino Dvornik Tribute Band. A true treat for street food lovers and live music enthusiasts!
Weekend at DBC (Dubrovnik Brewery)
For craft beer lovers, from October 18 to 20, a weekend will be held at the Dubrovnik Brewery with a rich program. Enjoy street food, live music, and, of course, top-quality beer in the unique atmosphere of the brewery.
Dinner “On the Flight from Beijing to Rome”
Vegetarian and exotic cuisine lovers can reserve their spot at a special dinner, “On the Flight from Beijing to Rome,” on October 19 at the Urban & Veggie restaurant. Enjoy creative combinations of Eastern and Western flavors in an innovative vegan menu that will take you on a journey through world cuisines.
Workshops and Culinary Education
Once again, the Good Food Festival offers a series of exciting workshops, with notable ones organized by the Deša Association and RCK Dubrovnik. Learn how to make carob pasta, coastal cakes, eclairs with traditional flavors, and more! Visit HoneyDu Cosmetics and Medardo facilities to discover how honey-based cosmetics and delicacies are made.
