The “Hidden Corners of Mljet” is an ethno-gastro event that takes place in the old villages located in the interior of the island of Mljet, where traditional local products and Mljet delicacies are prepared and presented. This project began in 2014 on the Feast of the Assumption in Korita and immediately attracted the interest of numerous visitors. In addition to being held in Korita, it is also organized in Maranovići on the occasion of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The aim of the event is to enrich the tourist offer and guest experience, as well as to protect and valorize our heritage. This includes contributing to the appreciation of the old village centers in the island’s interior and the customs related to the preparation of traditional dishes, products, and the way of life of the local population.

In addition to a visual display of history, visitors are introduced to numerous customs, with a particularly interesting aspect being the tasting of Mljet specialties. The entire experience is enhanced by the works and products of numerous exhibitors, associations, and agricultural households.
