During the summer months, the streets and squares of Dubrovnik fill with music, the scents of summer, and tradition through the “Through the Streets of Our City” programme. Organised by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board in cooperation with the City of Dubrovnik, this programme enriches city life with a variety of musical and cultural events, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for both visitors and residents.

From June until mid-September, the programme brings klapa performances, concerts, and the traditional City Guard, transforming the historic city centre and various locations into an open-air stage. Klapa songs echo in front of the Rector’s Palace and along Stradun, while Lapad, Orašac, Zaton, and the island of Koločep become meeting points for the local community and visitors seeking an authentic Dubrovnik summer experience.

A special atmosphere fills the streets every Wednesday and Saturday when the historic City Guard parades through the Old Town from 7 PM, reminding everyone of Dubrovnik’s rich history and heritage.

The “Through the Streets of Our City” programme invites all those staying in Dubrovnik to enjoy music under the stars, a relaxed summer atmosphere, and the beauty of warm evenings while experiencing the tradition and local music scene that make Dubrovnik unique.
