From the people’s army to folklore

The Knights’ Association « Kumpanjija » was founded in 1927. Their goal is to preserve the care of the knightly « dance of colors » as well as other rich folk heritage of Blato on the island of Korcula.
From its founding in 1927 until today, Kumpanjija has performed at more than 100 international festivals throughout Europe.
