Nera Etwa Craft Beer & Music Festival
Urban & 4, Psihomodo Pop, and Dino Dvornik Tribute Band are preparing a spectacle in the center of Metković!
The second edition of the first music and beer festival in the Neretva Valley brings a top-notch free music program led by legends of the Croatian alternative, rock, punk, and funk scene Damir Urban, Davor Gobac, and collaborators of the late Dino Dvornik.
Metković is gearing up for the most anticipated event of the season, the Nera Etwa Craft Beer & Music Festival, which will showcase a new level of perfect fusion of top-quality music, high-quality craft beer, and street food in the City Park on July 26 and 27, with free entry. Over two days, from 6 PM to 3 AM, visitors can enjoy ten free concerts by top bands and DJs, more than twenty types of quality craft beer from the Neretva Valley and surrounding areas, and interesting street food offerings from local restaurants.
On Friday, the festival opens with talented DJ and producer from Metković, Martyn Dox, who will kick off the concert spectacle at 6 PM, featuring three bands. At 8 PM, La Folee, a ska/punk/rock band led by Ivanka Mazurkijević (Stampedo, MrLee & IvaneSky), Sanja and Mario Fišter (Generali, Patareni, Motus, DGBB), who began their musical adventure in the 90s in East Berlin, will perform. At 9 PM, the official Dino Dvornik Tribute Band, featuring top musicians who collaborated with Dino at various stages of his career, will take the stage. At 11 PM, for the first time in 40 years, the iconic representatives of Croatian punk-rock, Psihomodo Pop, will perform in Metković. They will present their timeless hits such as « Frida, » « Ramona, » « Kad sam imao 16, » and « Ja volim samo sebe » in their recognizable and always unpredictable, authentic, and uncompromising style. The evening will close with residents of all the best festivals and clubs in the region, the famous Split DJ collective Adriatic Social Club DJs.
On Saturday, from 6 PM, Kozma, a doyen of the Metković electronic music scene, will warm up the crowd with a genre-free set focused only on good vibes, introducing the unique rock ‘n’ roll show by Bosak & The Second Hand Band. This renowned twelve-piece band from Zagreb will perform an original repertoire inspired by the sound and music of American and British rock icons from 8 PM. Around 10 PM, Urban & 4 will take the stage to perform a retrospective of Damir Urban’s and the band Laufer’s greatest hits such as « Mjesto za mene, » « Astronaut, » « Moja voda, » « Mala truba, » « Odlučio sam da te volim, » and « Ovo nije svijet za nas. » Around midnight, the group Bonus Trax, a Neretva fusion of synth-pop and funk, will perform. The festival will close with DJ Peđa Radović from Podgorica, known in the region for his original sets that give new life to long-forgotten ex-Yugoslav music by combining various styles with a unique electronic signature.
Beer lovers will have the opportunity to taste almost 30 types of quality craft beer from some of the best craft breweries in the Neretva Valley and surrounding areas: Brewille – Neretva Valley from Metković, Maskeron and Dubrovnik Beer Company from Dubrovnik, Prva Makarska Brewery from Makarska, OldbridZ from Mostar, and Trojansko from Gabela. In addition to top-quality beer, visitors can enjoy a variety of drinks, cocktails, and diverse street food offerings from local restaurants: Industry Pub, Boogie Bar, and Zalogajčić.
Nera Etwa is the first event in Metković and the Neretva Valley that combines urban music, beer, and gastronomic culture under an open roof.
