From 27 June to 29 August, the town of Opuzen comes alive with Opuzen Summer 2026, a vibrant festival offering more than two months of cultural, musical, sporting and traditional events in the heart of the Neretva Valley.
Throughout the summer, visitors can enjoy concerts, klapa performances, theatre shows, exhibitions, literary evenings, children’s programmes, sporting events and numerous traditional celebrations that showcase the rich heritage of the region. Highlights of the programme include the Pivci moji ne pivajte Klapa Festival, the Neretva Brudet Festival, the Melodies of the Croatian South Music Festival, Opuzen Town Day celebrations, the traditional Čikarijada event, and the grand finale with the famous Neretva Boat Marathon.
Taking place across the town’s squares, waterfront and open-air venues, Opuzen Summer offers an authentic Mediterranean experience, inviting visitors to discover local culture, gastronomy and traditions throughout the season.
