Ploče Trail is a mountain running race along the Bunker Trail themed trail, which is located on Striževo hill, on the very border of the Makarska littoral and the Neretva region.

The mountain running race 2. Ploče trail is divided into two disciplines. The big race is 17 km and has 800 meters of ascent, while the small race is 7 km long and includes 250 meters of ascent.

The trail passes through different landscapes. It starts in the suburbs of Ploče, includes 8 bunkers, passes through two abandoned villages and goes around several Illyrian mounds. Walking along the path, you are surrounded by untouched nature, a preserved coastal belt. The view on one side follows the Baćin Lakes, Biokovo and the white Bosnian mountains. On the other side, a view of Pelješac, Hvar, Korčula, Šćedro and the Neretva delta.

Checkpoints are located on Italian bunkers from the Second World War, from which there are beautiful views of the Baćin Lakes, Biokovo, Neretva, Pelješac, and the islands of Hvar and Korčula.

Registration for the Big Race is until November 5, and for the Small Race until November 10. You can register at stotinka.hr. Registration is free for children under the age of 15, and they can only take part in the Small Race. Competitors can expect unique medals and special prizes.
