Gastro event: Neretvanska brudetijada

The Neretvanska Brudetijada is a celebrated annual gastronomic event in Opuzen, focusing on the traditional Neretvanski brudet, a stew made from eels and frogs. The event features around 20 to 25 teams who have 45 minutes to prepare their versions of the dish. It serves as a significant cultural and social gathering, showcasing local culinary skills and traditions.
